Cranberry Christmas Event at the Haven Homestead Museum

There is a Victorian and Cranberry Christmas event at the Havens Homestead Museum and Lizzie Herbert House, 521 Herbertsville Rd. in Brick tomorrow between 12 Noon and 4 PM. Cranberries were historically important to Brick and there will be related explanations. Refreshments and entertainment are also available. For information call 732-785-2500.

Afternoon Tea at Havens Homestead Museum

There will be Afternoon Tea tomorow at the Havens Homestead Museum, 521 Herbertsville Rd. in Brick. This will take place between 1 and 3 PM. Members of the Brick Township Historical Society will dress in costume and serve food and drinks. That will include tea, lemonade, sandwiches, pastries and fruit. Civil War Display in August

Encampment of Civil War Soldiers to be Held appears in the Brick Times. According to the web page the 1st New York Voluntary Infantry Regiment will be at the Havens Homestead Museum, 521 Herbertsville Road, Brick, NJ on August 8th and 9th. They will be there all day on the eighth and until noon on the following day. The public is admitted without charge. The soldiers will attempt to show how camp life was during the Civil War.

During the two days the Havens Homestead Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for free tours.
